Scholarships on Strategic Journalism and Civil Resistance (Due December 28, 2011)

Everyday we hear and see protests, mobilizations, and demonstrations in various forms and media. In many of these, we are touched to join and get involved because we believe in their struggles which become ours too. One way of getting involved is to report these events to the public. Now, how do we communicate what we see and hear to be able to advance the struggles of the marginalized proponents?

Learn the basics and tips on strategic journalism and civil resistance with the School of Authentic Journalism. It is offering 40 slots for its workshop in Mexico on March 21-31, 2012.

It is looking for someone who is fluent in either English or Spanish. The selection is open to everyone of any age, education level, nationality, faith, race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status or political tendency.

Get that application form by sending an email to 2012application@narconews.com (English application form) or 2012solicitud@narconews.com (Spanish application form).
